Aircraft applications
Crouzet produces high performance aircraft components and has secured over the years a leading role in six product lines and services.
Crouzet offers cockpit control solutions and provide functionnal and ergonomic interfaces between pilots and various aircraft systems (Speed brake control unit, side stick, auto throttle control unit). Our cockpit control solutions are compact and lightweight and can be seamlessly integrated into cockpit designs.
Crouzet offers a complete range of electrical control and protection components, and their associated equipments. From hermetically sealed relays, to circuit breakers and their distribution boxes to solid state power controllers. Thanks to Crouzet agility and reactivity, we are able to build the best custom solution through a long term partnership.
For door systems, Crouzet offers position sensors, structural monitoring sensors, and electromchanical actuators. The proximity sensors are used to monitor the deployed/stowed position, opened/closed position of doors and latching mechanism. While, our structural monitoring sensors measure any deviation and deformation of the doors structure. And our high efficiency electric actuators are used into electric locking systems.
For cargo loading systems, Crouzet offers position and structural monitoring sensors, and electric motors. The proximity sensors are used to monitor the deployed/stowed position, opened/closed position of doors and latching mechanism. While, our structural monitoring sensors measure any deviation and deformation. And our high efficiency electric actuators are used to into doors locking systems.
Crouzet proposes Remote Control Circuit Breaker (RCCB) which merges a contactor function and a CB function. The RCCB has a status display window and a mechanical "TRIP indicator".
For nacelle application, Crouzet has a large range of components, from sensors to motors. Our Proximity Sensors are integrated in order to monitor the deployed or stowed position of the thrust reverser door. In addition, our high power density motors actuate the electromechanical actuators of the thrust reverser while our force sensors measure any jamming or deviation of these ones.
For safe operation, protection of electrical wiring is essential. Fuel tanks are protected from any ignition sources that could occur due to puncture caused by arcing. Crouzet proposes ground fault circuit breaker with arc fault which provides built-in test features that allow aircraft maintenance personal to verify that ground fault protection is functional or that a ground fault has occurred. In addition, our standard or custom actuating solution are integrated in fuel pumps.
Landing Gear proximity sensors provide signals to monitor landing gear position (up or down) and gear doors (opened or closed). Weight on Wheels (WoW) switches indicate whether the weight of an aircraft is resting in its wheels. This information reveals whether the aircraft is airbone or on the ground. High power density electric motors actuate the brakes and the direction of the landing gear systems. In addition, our strucutral monitoring sensors are integrated in electric actuators to measure any deviation.
Crouzet proposes ground fault circuit breaker with arc fault which provides built-in test features that allow aircraft maintenance personal to verify that ground fault protection is functional or that a ground fault has occurred.
Flight control system interprets the pilot's commands and moves the flight control surfaces (flap and slat) as necessary to achieve the desired response. The proximity sensors provide information about slats, spoiler, ailerons flaps position for a stable flight. While our electromechanical actuators associated with our force sensors are capable of moving the surface and holding the required position.
